The Washington Post reported early this morning that Texas Governor Rick Perry will dispatch the Texas National Guard to protect the border:
Perry will announce his plans Monday to mobilize some 1,000 guardsmen to increase security at the border, according to the Monitor, a south Texas newspaper. The newspaper quoted a state senator and an internal memo from a state official’s office that it obtained.
…Perry, a potential 2016 Republican presidential contender, has been speaking in Iowa in recent days, promising to take matters into his own hands if President Barack Obama does not act.
“If the federal government does not do its constitutional duty to secure the southern border of the United States, the state of Texas will do it,” Perry said Sunday at a Republican BBQ.
Further proof you just don’t mess with Texas.
Screw the national guard they go by rules of engagement we the people fought to get this country let it be we the people defend the borders with no mercy as the Mexicans and the cartels have none.
Where’s the holdup? This has been going on, unattended by this administration, for months! Get on with it already! You’re playing both sides, Mr. Perry.

It’s about time. I sent an email to the Gov’s Office, three weeks ago, demanding just this. I just talked to the Gov’s Office to verify this, and they said they were being mobilized right now. With people on the Mexican firing shots over the Border, while a visiting U.S. Congressman is in the area, Louie Gohmert, I believe this action is long overdue. Texas is despised and hated by the Obama Regime, so therefore, it is up to us, the Citizens of Texas to defend our own State.
Lets see where this goes first. The obozo regime will not like this a bit and probably will dispatch Holder to some obozo regime federal judge for an injunction against it. This runs totally against his great illegal invasion amnesty program to impede the illegal criminals swarming across the border to receive all the benefits of amnesty which will be granted by both parties right after the next election. Just ask Boehner?
