Want to know what a real leader looks like when he stands up for his country?

During a speech at the United Nations General Assembly, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered an icy cold rebuke to the leaders in attendance for their “utter silence” while Iran made promises to murder his people.

It was incredibly powerful.

Netanyahu:  “70 years after the murder of 6 million Jews, Iran’s rulers promised to destroy my country, murder my people, and the response from this body, the response from nearly every one of the governments represented here has been absolutely nothing. Utter silence. Deafening silence. … Perhaps you can understand why Israel is not joining you in celebrating this deal.”

Via the Washington Examiner:

Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday delivered an icy, silent glare to United Nations for 45 seconds during his speech to the General Assembly, after accusing most U.N. members of doing nothing to protect Israel from Iran’s threats.

Netanyahu said Iran routinely promises to destroy Israel, but said said the response from most U.N. members has been “absolutely nothing. Utter silence!”

He then silently glared around the room, and said, “Perhaps you can now understand why Israel is not joining you in celebrating this deal.”

Netanyahu further stated that Israel would take whatever action necessary to defend itself from foreign threats.

“Throughout our history,” Netanyahu said, “the Jewish people have learned the heavy price of silence.”

“And as the prime minister of the Jewish state, as someone who knows that history, I refuse to be silent.”

Comment:  Do you think the UN leaders actually got the message regarding the dangerous Iranian nuclear deal?
