WATCH: This Trump Supporter Is FURIOUS About The Colorado GOP Denying His Vote!

Colorado GOP

A Trump supporter in Colorado is so fed up with the GOP that he has declared he will leave the party, even showing how serious he is by burning his voter registration card and posting it to YouTube.

Trump fans have been seething over what they view as a ‘rigged system’ culminating with what happened in Colorado, where Ted Cruz swept the state’s 34 delegates without any votes being cast by citizens in a traditional primary process.

In an interview with Bill O’Reilly, Trump himself stated “This was a political hack deal, like so much of our country.”

“The people don’t get a chance to vote. The people out in Colorado are going nuts,” he said.

Here is a news report on the controversy …

Via Fox News Insider:

A man who says he has been a lifelong Republican is now saying, “Goodbye, GOP.”

The former Republican voter, reportedly identified as Larry Wayne Lindsey, says he lined up for an hour at this weekend’s state convention in Colorado Springs to vote for Donald Trump.

But after his precinct captain found out who he was supporting, Lindsey says he was “removed and replaced.”

“My vote nullified, because I voted for Trump,” he said in a series of videos posted to YouTube. “They think they are gonna get away with this, they are sadly mistaken.”

Lindsey in another video, shown on Special ReportandFox Business’ Risk & Reward with Deirdre Bolton, holds up what he says is a copy of his Republican Party voter registration card.

“I’m voting for Trump, and to hell with the Republican Party,” he said, setting the sheet of paper on fire.

“I will not be forced for somebody that I don’t want to. I quit. I quit the party.”

The Republican frontrunner even responded to the disgruntled voter on Twitter:

To be fair, the rules in Colorado have been in place for years, with seemingly everyone aware of them with the exception of Trump, his campaign, and his followers.

Additionally, Allahpundit at Hot Air indicates that the Colorado rules were designed to actually help the frontrunning candidate, and cites multiple other instances in which primary rules have benefited Trump.

Is Trump trying to capitalize on perception as opposed to reality?
