It took all of nine words for Fox News host Tucker Carlson to turn a liberal college student who supports the removal of the American flag on campus, and calls police officers and Army veterans ‘forces of oppression,’ into a complete sputtering mess.
Daniel Vogel took part on Carlson’s show to discuss a recent decision by Hampshire College in Massachusetts to remove the American flag on campus, after students removed Old Glory on the eve of Veterans Day and set it on fire.
Vogel did not take part in the flag burning, but approved of the university’s decision to remove the flag from appearing anywhere on campus. The Hampshire president issued a statement saying “Getting rid of the flag will allow us to focus our efforts on addressing racist, misogynistic, Islamophobic, anti-immigrant, anti-Semitic and anti-LGBTQ rhetoric and behaviors.”
The precious college snowflake supported the decision because “groups that use the flag, from police officers to the US Army, these are the forces on the ground that make oppression happen.”
Carlson blasted back, “If the police and the Army would go away, sensitive college students like you would be eaten alive.”
Exactly.
Carlson then issued a challenge, asking Vogel “You find America unfair: What’s a fairer country [to be tried for] a felony?”

“There isn’t really a county I’d rather be tried for a felony in. Uhh, per, I, and I, I really doubt, it’s uh, it’s not really about me, uh, it’s about black people and people of color in this country, who, if they were to be tried for a felony are much more likely than me to be put in prison for that.”
I … uh … uh … it’s uh.
Sounds like a soundbite from his obvious anti-police muse, President Obama.

Carlson highlighted how out of touch the privileged liberals at Hampshire College are with those they claim to be fighting for:
“Do you know what the median income is in this country? It’s much less than one year of your schooling. Less than $62,000 which is what you pay or your parents pay for you to go to Hampshire school and burn the American flag.”
The clearly brainwashed child said that it wasn’t his parents who paid for his education, seemingly suggesting that they made their money off the backs of slaves and native Americans.
“The wealth of my parents that was able to pay for this institution was garnered off of slavery and was taken from exploitation. The land that I live on was taken from Native peoples. It’s the wealth of the people who have had things stolen from them that allowed me to go to this institution.”
