Clinton Tries To Tie KKK To Trump – Here’s Why It Backfired!

Trump KKK

Hillary Clinton hit a new low, pushing a political ad that offers nothing short of a direct correlation between the KKK and Republican Donald Trump.

But it’s backfiring in a big way because history reveals something about her past she might like to keep quiet.

First, the ad …

Via Politico:

A new video released Thursday by Hillary Clinton’s campaign makes the case that Donald Trump is the candidate of racists, white supremacists and neo-Nazis.

“The reason a lot of Klan members like Donald Trump is because a lot of what he believes, we believe in,” says a robed man identified as the Imperial Wizard of the Rebel Brigade Knights of the Ku Klux Klan at the top of the video, followed by the images of a Confederate flag fluttering in the wind, Trump waving after a speech, and a man performing a Hitler salute at what appears to be a Trump rally.

The video’s release comes on the same day that Clinton is scheduled to deliver a speech on the so-called “alt-right” political movement that has formed much of Trump’s base from the beginning of his campaign. In the video, an unidentified voice labels the alt-right as “the sort of dressed-up-in-suits version of the neo-Nazi and white supremacist movements.”

There’s just one major, major problem with linking the KKK to Trump – While she can cherry-pick some zealots who happen to be supporting him, it’s pretty easy to do the same for Hillary.

In fact months ago, a California branch of the KKK raised tens of thousands of dollars for Clinton’s campaign saying, “For the KKK, Clinton is our choice.”

Prior to that, a Ku Klux Klan grand dragon expressed support for Democrat nominee.

“We want Hillary Clinton to win,” grand dragon Will Quigg told The Telegraph. “She is telling everybody one thing, but she has a hidden agenda. She’s telling everybody what they want to hear so she can get elected, because she’s Bill Clinton’s wife, she’s close to the Bushes. [But] once she’s in the presidency, she’s going to come out and her true colors are going to show.”

Then of course there’s this pesky bit – video of Clinton speaking highly of a former Klan Member.

That’s right, former U.S. Senator Robert Byrd (D-WV), card-carrying member and recruiter for the KKK. In the 1940s, he obtained the KKK rank of “Exalted cyclops” and spent decades promoting their vile, racist message.

We’re not sure what the rankings mean, but ‘Exalted Cyclops’ is at the very least higher-ranking than say an Average Cyclops, so Byrd must have been an important member of the KKK.

“Senator Byrd was a man of surpassing eloquence and nobility,” Clinton gushed. “It is almost impossible to imagine the United States Senate without Robert Byrd. He was not only its longest serving member. He was its heart, its soul, and it’s historian.”

The ‘noble heart and soul’ Byrd took part in what was – at the time – the longest filibuster ever against the Civil Rights Act.

Message to Trump’s campaign – we just tailor made a response ad for you. Don’t let Hillary slide on this race nonsense.

Comment: Trump recently called Hillary a “bigot,” while she has obviously fired back by calling him friendly to the KKK. Which party is more obsessed with racist policies and platforms – the Democrats or Republicans? Tell us below.
