Watch What Happens When Trump Walks Into a Church on Christmas Eve

Christians tend to get excited to see a man who actually appreciates their rights and enjoys celebrating Christmas.

That’s why, when President-elect Donald Trump attended a church service on Christmas Eve in Florida in 2016, he received an incredible response from the parishioners – a standing ovation!

Trump and future First Lady Melania Trump went to the Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea, with no fanfare or announcements. The reaction from people there was amazing.

Via the Daily Caller:

President-elect Donald Trump and future first lady Melania Trump received a standing ovation Christmas Eve when they arrived unannounced at a 10:30 p.m. church service.

Trump attended a Christmas Eve church service at the Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea, a historic church just a short drive from his Mar-a-Lago Estate in South Florida.

They sat in the fourth row, with secret service agents seated in the rows in front of him and behind, according to the Palm Beach Post.

Trump sang songs and shook hands with those seated around him.

“People around there just love Donald Trump right there in palm beach,” Peter Doocy reported. “They want to see him.”

That particular church holds special meaning for the Trump family, as it is where Donald and Melania were married in 2005.

On the flip side, President Obama welcomed Christmas in Hawaii in a more relaxed environment, sporting flip-flops and sharing shave ice treats with his daughters.

NJ.com reports:

Meanwhile, President Obama spent Christmas Eve vacationing in his home state of Hawaii on the island of Oahu. Clad in flip-flops, sunglasses and a white, short-sleeved polo mesh shirt, the president — as he did last year, made his annual unannounced after-lunch pilgrimage to Island Snow in Kailua with his daughters Sasha, 18 and Malia, 15, for shave ice treats.

Trump wore his signature red tie with dark suit at the church ceremony.

Obama did manage to squeeze in some phone calls to troops overseas before the day was over.
