Last week, we tragically learned that former-President George H.W. Bush and his wife Barbara were both rushed to the hospital with serious illnesses. While Barbara Bush was just released from the hospital, she has refused to leave her husband, who is still dealing with a bout of pneumonia.
Why? As family spokesman Jim McGrath noted, she will stay in the hospital to be closer to her husband.
They have been married 72 years, and she refuses to leave his side:
