This Democrat Senator Is Saying NO To Obama’s Iran Deal

Chuck Schumer

Senator Chuck Schumer announced that he will not be backing President Obama’s Iran Deal. The Democrat from New York said that he simply doesn’t trust Iran.

Therefore, I will vote to disapprove the agreement, not because I believe war is a viable or desirable option, nor to challenge the path of diplomacy. It is because I believe Iran will not change, and under this agreement it will be able to achieve its dual goals of eliminating sanctions while ultimately retaining its nuclear and non-nuclear power. Better to keep U.S. sanctions in place, strengthen them, enforce secondary sanctions on other nations, and pursue the hard-trodden path of diplomacy once more, difficult as it may be.

Earlier this week, President Obama compared Iranian hardliners who chant “Death To America” to Republicans who oppose his nuclear deal with Iran. Will Obama come swinging at his fellow Democrats who refuse to carry the heavy water on a deal that appears to be dangerous not only to the United States and Israel but to the entire world as well?

Why do you believe Obama wants this deal with Iran?  Please comment below.
