While the #BoycottStarbucks movement is on the rise after the company’s CEO attacked President Trump, one veteran is taking on the company to “make coffee great again.”
It appears as though the movement calling for a boycott of Starbucks is working, as Fortune is reporting that the #BoycottStarbucks was the highest trending topic on Twitter!
On Sunday, liberal Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz publicly went after President Trump for daring to issue an Executive Order limiting travel from countries with high levels of terrorist activity.
The Political Insider reported that Schultz penned a letter to his employees blasting the president and pledged that Starbucks would hire 10,000 refugees in response to the temporary travel limitations. In his letter, the CEO opined “We are living in an unprecedented time, one in which we are witness to the conscience of our country, and the promise of the American Dream, being called into question.”
Well, after Schultz’ anti-Trump rant, not only have we seen people across the county boycotting Starbucks, but Starbucks’ stock has tumbled 8% since Friday, according to CNN Money:
Since Schultz’ official comments on Sunday, Starbucks’ stock has declined 3.47%.
Clearly, the American people are not happy with Starbucks’ decision to hire 10,000 refugees and have let their voices be heard both in the company’s declining stock price and via social media:
@CNN @Starbucks I’m sure US citizens that need jobs appreciate ur discrimination against them #DunkinDonutsHasBetterCoffee #BoycottStarbucks

Rather than hire refugees, maybe Starbucks should consider hiring American citizens, including veterans, who could need the work.
Now, the Black Rifle Coffee Company, founded by an American war veteran, has pledged to do just that – hire 10,000 veterans! Check this out:
Clearly, Starbucks and its CEO would rather play politics and protest President Trump’s Executive Order instead of doing what is best for its company and the American economy.
