Shocking Video: The Knockout Game Victim Was a Pregnant Woman

A 34-year-old woman who is six-months pregnant may have become the latest victim of the ‘knockout game,’ having been dropped on the streets of Brooklyn.

Jannatul Ferdous was just walking down a public sidewalk with her sister yesterday afternoon, when 33-year-old Willie Stephens knocked her unconscious with a vicious sucker punch to the back of the head.

Video from what appears to be a security camera has emerged, showing the attack.

The New York Post says that police believe that the random act of violence makes it a prime candidate for a case of the ‘knockout game.’

Ferdous’ sister immediately called the cops and gave them a description of the attacker, who fled. Officers found Stephens three blocks away and arrested him. The alleged assailant, who does not have a criminal record, was charged with assault.

Cops believe the attack could be connected to the “knockout game,” in which criminals try to punch their victims unconscious with a single blow. The attack appeared to be random and officers believe Stephens did not know his victim, sources said.

Reports last year showed that the ‘Knockout Game,’ in which typically younger men are encouraged to randomly punch somebody in an attempt to knock them out, had been popping up all over Brooklyn.

Neither the woman, nor her child were critically injured during the attack.
