SHOCK: Obama Could Have Stopped Orlando Attack But SILENCED Agents

A former Department of Homeland Security officer claims that the Obama administration might have been able to stop the terrorist attacks in San Bernardino and Orlando, but instead wiped out the work he had done to uncover the radicalization of each of the shooters.

Philip Haney claims that during his time working for DHS, he discovered that the mosques frequented by San Bernardino killers Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik belonged to the same network as the mosque frequented by Omar Mateen.

As our colleague Kosar reported just a few days ago, the administration – including Hillary Clinton – deleted the records associated with his investigation.

Haney now believes it is “a fair statement” that the Obama administration wiped out the work that could have saved American lives.

Via Fox News Insider:

Former Department of Homeland Security officer Philip Haney said he believes that the Orlando and San Bernardino attacks are related and that both might have been prevented had the DHS not deleted records he compiled on Muslims with terror ties.

Haney told Hannity he discovered that the mosque where Omar Mateen worshipped was connected to the same network as the mosque where Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik worshipped.

“Farook would have been put on the no-fly list and not allowed to travel, or his pending fiancé would have been denied a visa because of his affiliation with an organization with plausible ties to terrorism,” he said.

He affirmed to Sean Hannity that it was “a fair statement” that the Obama Administration wiped out the work that could have saved American lives.

Hannity’s response to Haney’s claims echo what we’re all thinking – “Oh, my God,” he said, “This is unconscionable.”

Unconscionable, but not unbelievable.

As the Political Insider’s own Soopermexican reported, Haney said his program could have stopped the San Bernardino attack but the Obama administration shut down his investigation because they shied away from “profiling.”

A follow-up report in May reiterated Haney’s assertions that “intelligence was ignored despite having been used to connect members of the movement to terrorist organizing and financing at the highest levels, including for Hamas and al-Qaida.”

An additional 67 records of individuals and organizations linked to the case that Haney had compiled were completely eliminated by orders from “upper management.”

Now those deleted records could have been used to stop the Orlando attack as well.

How many more people with links to terrorism have been allowed to roam free thanks to Obama and Clinton’s insistence on eliminating important intelligence due to political correctness? How many more people will die due to the administration’s incompetence?

Comment: Do you think Obama could have stopped these terrorist attacks but eliminated intelligence in order to appear politically correct? Is this plausible? Share your thoughts below.
