America’s favorite sheriff, David Clarke, is taking a page right out of the Democrat playbook (rightfully so), and pointing out that anti-Trump protesters are trying to intimidate voters and they’re using Jim Crow-era tactics to do so.
Clarke took the Department of Justice to task for failing to “investigate and prosecute and identify people who are using the same type of tactics that were used in the Jim Crow south to frighten and intimidate blacks from participating in the voting process.”
He even went on to accuse Loretta Lynch and the DOJ of ignoring the violence at Trump rallies because most of the victims are white. Wow! Playing the anti-white race card on self-righteous liberals has to make their heads explode.
Clarke appeared on the Hannity show and absolutely destroyed the Justice Department and leftists supporting the violence at Trump rallies.
Here is the transcript of Clarke’s comments:
Sheriff David Clarke: Well, this is premeditated organized violence and these are riot-makers that show up at these events. What the mayor said was obviously ridiculous.
But, Sean what I’m ticked off about right now is why Attorney General Loretta Lynch has not dispatched the FBI and dispatched lawyers from the Civil Rights Division to investigate and prosecute and identify people who are using the same type of tactics that were used in the Jim Crow south to frighten and intimidate blacks from participating in the voting process.
That’s why this is done to strike fear and intimidation in the hearts of these people who want to come and hear the candidate of their choice. This is constitutionally protected. This is a Civil Rights violation and they are entitled to that same equal rights protection under the law as anybody else or any of the other protected class.
It appears to me that the United States Department of Justice doesn’t care what happening because these people are white and they’re Trump supporters.
Whether they’re trying to simply intimidate the black community, or ignoring violence against whites, the Democrat Party has always been the party of segregation, the party of Jim Crow.
It was Jesse Jackson Jr. who said “so much of the Democratic Party’s history, since it is our nation’s oldest political party, has its roots in slavery.”
Jackson would also explain that Democrats wrote “revisionist history” when it comes to Jim Crow laws.
Unfortunately for them, the camera doesn’t lie. Clarke is simply pointing out that they’re now engaged in violence against white Trump supporters, while simultaneously trying to intimidate the black community from supporting him.
