U.S. President Barack Obama and Russian President Vladimir Putin sharply disagreed Monday over the chaos in Syria with dueling speeches at the United Nations General Assembly.
They also met in private Monday evening. The sit-down marks their first face-to-face encounter in nearly a year and comes amid escalating Russian military engagement in Syria.
Once again, Obama utopian ideology gets in the way of reality. It’s astonishing how this guy can continue to make the same mistakes over and over again and never learn. Instead, he uses his bully pulpit at the U.N. to arrogantly preach his agenda of self-righteousness.
Obama just doesn’t understand that his policies in the Middle East are causing chaos and anarchy. Yes, Bashar Assad is a bad guy. So was Libya’s Mo-mar Qaddafi. But it was their country, their people, not ours. Obama’s interference and support of Islamic terrorist rebel factions to overthrow these dictators have left these nations in utter chaos and despair with anarchy from tribal warlords to rule.

The Democrats criticized George W Bush for going into Iraq, resulting in the removal of Saddam Husein. Iraq is now in turmoil and they (Democrats) say we should’ve left Iraq alone and left Saddam in place even though he was a tyrant. It was better than what they have now, kind of like what Putin is saying here about Syria.
Now, in Syria, Assad is in place, a civil war is in progress, and the Dems want him out. Isn’t this asking for another Iraq scenario? Qaddafi was removed from power in Libya under this president, and now look at the turmoil there. Refugees from Libya can’t get to Italy fast enough.
Putin’s support of Assad is not a great solution, but it’s the best alternative available. It’s certainly better than pouring money and weapons into unknown rebel factions that take our weapons and join up with ISIS, which is how ISIS was created in the first place. That’s really stupid.
The problem is, Obama doesn’t have a solution and never did. Putin does.
