Pathetic Celebrities Holding a Telethon to Counter Trump’s Inauguration

A group of very sad, very pathetic Hollywood celebrities are holding a telethon opposite President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration, hoping to take the focus off of his presidency and place it on their progressive causes.

The event has been dubbed a “Love-a-Thon” because organizers apparently have the mentality of a 5-year-old.

A-listers expected to attend include Tim Robbins, Jamie Lee Curtis, Patricia Arquette, and of course, “Hanoi Jane” Fonda.

The group running the Love-a-Thon hope to raise a minimum of $500,000 to support such causes as abortion mills, Planned Parenthood, and an environmental organization known as Earth Justice.

A group of celebrities are going up against the inauguration ceremony of President-elect Donald Trump.

The Jan. 20 “Love-a-thon” is being billed as a Jerry Lewis telethon of sorts, with comedic and musical performances to be broadcast on Facebook Live at the same time as the historic event in Washington, D.C.

Those slated to participate include Jane Fonda, Jamie Lee Curtis and her husband Christopher Guest, Judd Apatow, Patricia Arquette, and Tim Robbins.

The organizers aim to raise at least $500,000 for groups like Planned Parenthood, the ACLU, Earthjustice.

Nothing quite says ‘love-a-thon’ like raising money for an organization that sells body parts from aborted babies.

The man behind the love fest is Alex Godin, a 23-year-old tech entrepreneur, who said “I woke up like a lot of Americans feeling pretty crappy on November 10.”

As such, he decided he needed a hug, a safety pin, and a safe space to avoid the reality of a Trump presidency. As did all of these Hollywood actors. Hence ‘Love-a-Thon.’

No wonder Bristol Palin is blasting celebrities for being a bunch of sissies.

Here’s a video from other celebrities weeping over Hillary’s epic loss to Trump:
