Obama’s Parting Gift to Hillary Has Donald Trump Cheering!

Obama Hillary

Since Donald Trump’s historic win over Hillary Clinton last week, President Obama has repeatedly expressed his shock and displeasure at the man who will succeed him in the White House.

While Obama is no fan of President-elect Trump, what he just said about Hillary Clinton will have the Republican, and millions of Americans, smiling.

During a Monday press conference with reporters, Obama appeared to take a shot at Hillary commenting that “being president” means that one must “pay attention” to “rules and norms and laws.”  that you “gotta pay attention to.” Obama’s comments are seen by many as a shot at Hillary for her use of a private email server.

There have been rumors that Obama would even go so far as to pardon Hillary for her crimes, but his latest comments cast serious doubt on the subject. Trump has already said he will not pardon Hillary Clinton.

For months, the FBI went back and forth over whether to charge Hillary Clinton with a crime for having classified information on a private email server while Secretary of State. Initially, FBI Director James Comey announced over the summer that no charges would be sought against the Democrat, but just weeks before the election, newly discovered emails forced the agency to reopen its investigation of Hillary.

While the FBI ultimately refused to seek charges against Ms. Clinton, likely for political reasons, the scandal did hurt her campaign, and may have cost her the White House. Given that Obama was a vocal supporter of the Democrat, his sharp comments directed at Hillary should put to rest any questions about his true feelings over Clinton’s private email server.

The only remaining question is whether or not President Trump will go after Hillary Clinton and put her in jail like he promised to do during the campaign.
