Gayla Baer-Taylor, a lifelong Democrat, has decided that enough is enough and she is throwing her support behind Republican frontrunner Donald Trump.
So what was the final straw?
The one issue Trump has had a stranglehold on with his opponents: illegal immigration. Specifically, the murder of Kate Steinle.
Steinle was killed in San Francisco by an illegal immigrant with a lengthy criminal record. The man had been deported five times prior to this tragedy, but this time had fled to San Francisco because he knew he could escape federal scrutiny due to its designation as a so-called ‘sanctuary city.’
Conservative columnist Ann Coulter said that Steinle “died specifically as a result of Obama’s policies.”
For Baer-Taylor, it was something she could not tolerate any longer.

On “Fox and Friends” this morning, Gayla Baer-Taylor, a lifelong Democrat, explained why she’s supporting Trump in the 2016 election.
She said that for her, the turning point was the murder of Kate Steinle – who was shot in San Francisco by an illegal immigrant – and the Obama administration’s refusal to acknowledge her death.
She explained that Trump’s strong stance on illegal immigration and his opposition to sanctuary cities really resonated with her.
Baer-Taylor said that the Democrat party is “a party of enabling.”
“They enable people to stay weak and poor and full of excuses. And it’s just not my grandpa’s Democrats.”
A recent report from the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) indicates that as many as 124 illegal immigrants released from jail by the Obama administration since 2010 went on to commit 138 murders.
That’s 138 people just like Kate Steinle.
When is enough, enough America? When will other Democrats join Baer-Taylor and say ‘this can’t keep happening?’
