Liberals are seeing Nazis under every bed these days. The Speaker of the House of Representatives is no exception, either.
The other day, our sister site Headline Politics reported on an embarrassing incident for liberals when they claimed that Ann Coulter had tweeted out a secret code indicating that she was a Nazi.
What did she tweet? The number fourteen. Seriously.
Here’s the connection liberals tried to make, and it’s a yuuuuge stretch.
But what was she referencing really? The number of days until Obama is out of office, like she’d been counting down for the past year.
And boy did she…
Now where have the Nazis appeared? On Paul Ryan’s website. That’s right… liberals actually thought the House Speaker was secretly creating Nazi imagery.
So what is the symbol really? The symbol of the Speaker of the House….. which has existed as long as there’s been a Speaker of the House. Over 220 years. For liberals who can’t count, the Speaker’s Mace was created at least 130 years before the Nazi Party even existed.
It’s a modern form of McCarthyism, except instead of seeing Communists everywhere, they see Nazis.
Where will the Nazis appear next? I can’t wait to find out!
