Washington Post columnist Dana Milbank set off a firestorm late Monday night when he posted a recap of an event in which conservatives were portrayed as having engaged in “the ugly taunting of a woman in the room who wore an Islamic head covering.” Unfortunately for Milbank, video has surfaced including a small portion directly involving the woman referenced, as well as the entire 3+ hour event. The result was a thorough debunking of Milbank’s claims that the woman was taunted by Politico and BuzzFeed.
That said, Milbank’s hackery of the event shouldn’t obscure from the fact that he himself has engaged in some pretty ugly taunting of his political opposition.

10) Milbank calls the Koch brothers ‘demons’ who couldn’t play the role any better “if they were carrying around pitchforks and had horns.”
9) Milbank asked if there was anybody who could get Ted Cruz to shut up.
8) Milbank says the President needs to use a “cattle prod and a baseball bat” when dealing with Republicans.
7) Milbank called the Republican Party “sea monsters.“
6) Milbank said the only thing Republicans could offer Latinos is the chimichanga.
5) Milbank referred to Republican’s as intellectual equivalents of children, insinuated Sarah Palin is an idiot.
4) Milbank also referred to conservative leaders as “children” that will eventually come around to the right point of view.
3) Milbank said the GOP is “a coalition of white southern men.”
2) Milbank accused South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, an Indian-American, of reaching out to white supremacists.
