Issa Shreds Obamacare Architect in Just Three Words

During the testimony before the House Oversight Committee to discuss his controversial comments on fooling the “stupid” American public to pass Obamacare, architect Jonathan Gruber was asked a question he probably didn’t see coming.

After playing a video clip of Gruber’s comments, Chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA), citing Forrest Gump, asked “Are you stupid?”

Ouch.

Via Gateway Pundit:

Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber testified before the House Oversight Committee today. The MIT economist was questioned on his controversial statements that Democrats lied to “stupid” Americans to pass Obamacare.

On Tuesday Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) used Forrest Gump as an example when questioning Gruber about his previous statements.

“The night before last I was at the Kennedy Center Honors where they honored Tom Hanks, famously Forrest Gump. The ultimate in successful stupid man. Are you stupid?… Does MIT employ stupid people?… OK, so you’re a smart man who, as the ranking member, said some really stupid things.”

Gruber’s first response was “I don’t think so.”  When Issa asked about MIT employing stupid people, Gruber responded “not to my knowledge.”

Enjoy the video below of the pompous, arrogant Gruber getting a taste of his own medicine. Medicine which probably is not covered under Obamacare.

Tell us, Political Insider readers – Is Jonathan Gruber stupid, or is it the American people?
