After Friday’s bombshell report that the FBI was reopening their investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server, the left FREAKED OUT and immediately went into attack mode.
The long knives were out for FBI Director James Comey, the man who only a few months ago they were all praising for his decision not to recommend charges against Hillary Clinton. Suddenly they’re all changing their tune on what a great man and public servant he is.
Here are 6 times Democrat Hillary supporters defended Comey and his judgement this summer.

At a press conference following Comey’s July announcement Clinton wouldn’t be charged, Obama praised Comey’s work.
I’m going to continue to be scrupulous about not commenting on it, just because I think Director Comey could not have been more exhaustive. My understanding is not only did he make a full presentation, but while we were over here, or at least flying, he was presenting to Congress for hours on end.
Now that Comey is being even more exhaustive in his investigation by reopening it, will Democrats still appreciate his efforts?

CNN Dan Merica reminds us that Fallon said it was a “bad look” that Republicans “put the director in a hot seat and second-guess[ed] his decision.”

Fallon also once bemoaned Republicans pressuring the FBI for partisan reasons.

Fallon has now changed his tune, shamelessly second-guessing Comey’s decision to reopen the case and trying to bully him into serving Hillary’s interests.
That’s a bad look, Fallon.

Here’s an ironic post from July in which the Hillary campaign put out a video hitting Republicans for “contradicting themselves in challenging the integrity of the Director of the FBI.”
Just like the House Benghazi Committee before them, Chaffetz and his fellow Republicans refuse to accept the findings from any independent investigation if it doesn’t fit their partisan conspiracy theory. They are so desperate to continue attacking Hillary Clinton over the issue of her emails that they are contradicting themselves in challenging the integrity of the Director of the FBI.
Another post that praises Comey as a popular, “well-respected” man whose “independence…has rarely been questioned.”
Throughout his long career in law enforcement, the independence of FBI chief James Comey has rarely been questioned. Comey is a well-respected Republican who served as George W. Bush’s Deputy Attorney General. And when President Obama tapped him to serve as Director of the FBI, he was confirmed by a 93-1 vote.
Of course it was TERRIBLE when Republicans questioned his independence, now…not so much.

Flashback to when Pelosi called Comey a “great man” who Americans are “very privileged” to have, according to Politico reporting at the time.
As FBI Director James Comey was testifying before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, Pelosi at her weekly news conference Thursday praised Comey, a former George W. Bush administration official, as “a great man” that Americans “are very privileged” to have leading the federal agency.

Back in July Media Matters noted the lefty Congressman fawned over Comey at a hearing following the announcement that the FBI wouldn’t recommend charges against Clinton.
I don’t know whether your family’s watching this, but I hope that they are as proud of you as I am, because you are the epitome of what a public servant is all about. Sacrificing over and over and over again, trying to do the right thing, sometimes coming under ridicule, but again still doing the right thing. So I hope they are proud of you. The second thing I hope is that no matter what has happened in this hearing, I hope that you know that your reputation is still intact.
I wonder if Cummings is still so proud of Comey and thinks he’s “epitome of what a public servant is all about.”
The hypocrisy on display from the left is outrageous. They are throwing Comey under the bus today after they all loved him when he saved Hillary’s skin in July. With less than 2 weeks to go until the election, things are only going to get worse for Comey – and Hillary. I can’t wait to see how it all turns out!
