Ben Stein, former presidential speechwriter, world-renowned economist, game show host, and legendary Hollywood actor for his memorable, albeit brief role in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, has jumped into the Hillary health watch controversy.
Stein, who has been equally critical of both presidential candidates, showing a bipartisan disdain for Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, weighed in on the controversy that has thus far been dismissed as conspiracy theory.
Stein said of Clinton, “I don’t think she looks well” adding that she resembles “my poor dear mother” who “was taking powerful hydrocortisone” drugs to treat Lupus.

Actor and economist Ben Steinmay ormay notbe on the fence over Donald Trump, but during a Monday interview, he appeared to follow the example of the mogul’s campaign during his commentary on Hillary Clinton.
Even though Clinton’s physician says her physical condition is fine, the Trump camp has been latching ontounproven theoriesover the last few days in order to insist the Clinton is mentally ill and/or on the brink of death. Steve Malzberg invited Stein to comment on these rumors, and Stein diagnosed that there were similarities between the appearance of Clinton’s health, and that of his mother who suffered from Lupus.
“I don’t think she looks well. When you see pictures of her face I hate to say this my poor dear mother had Lupus and she was taking powerful hydrocortisone and Mrs. Clinton looks to me like she’s taking hydrocortisone.”

Stein has taken several shots at Trump in the past, so his commentary on Clinton’s health can hardly be viewed as partisan.
Stein said that while that he’s no doctor, Clinton ought to release her medical records to the American people and put the controversy to rest once and for all.
Other times Stein has been a voice of tremendous reason include:
- Explaining how Obama looks down on the American people and thinks of them as “racist sons of bitches.”
- Called President Obama “a very real danger” who has “a strong hatred of America.”
- Offered up this great quote on voter ID – “Fathom the hypocrisy of a government that requires every citizen to prove they are insured but not everyone must prove they are a citizen.”
- Appeared on Fox News to call Barack Obama “The most most racist president there has ever been in America.”
