Ferguson Woman Defends Officer Wilson: Anyone Willing to Take a Bullet for Me Is Family

On Fox News, Ms. Robin Clearmountain, an African-American woman from Ferguson, Missouri, appeared on The Kelly File to express her FULL support to the police department and, specifically, Officer Darren Wilson. She is very brave, and as you can see (above), she has the type of common sense that has been lacking in the debate over the death of Michael Brown.

Watch as Clearmountain tells Kelly why she gives Officer Wilson the benefit of the doubt:

As far as I’m concerned, anyone willing to take a bullet for me or to jump in and save me from a catastrophic situation, that is family to me, and I have to support these people for the job they do, and as far as I’m concerned there isn’t enough money in the world to pay them for what they do, and I’m not ashamed or afraid to say that.

And…

That level of paranoia, mistrust is very disturbing to me. Bob McCulloch has the chops and if you think about it, he’s going to be extra, extra careful.

Clearmountain also gives a brilliant explanation of why people in the black community should give officers a chance, and why this racial tension is ridiculous.
