This Christmas, I decided I was going to surprise my 91-year-old mom by taking her granddaughters to see her. My mom loves surprises, and it’s been a while since we spent the biggest day of the year with my her.
Guess what, it was grand. She never saw it coming! I haven’t seen a smile that huge since I surprised her when I came home from the military. Surprising parents has always been a great tradition for kids, so when I saw this video (below), I knew I had to share it with you.
The woman in this story was being followed by a delivery driver who seemed to have a package for her. When she popped out of her car, she still wasn’t sure what was going on until she got closer to the driver… and guess what happened?

You can tell she was so appreciative of seeing her son. Watching this video, I thought to myself that she really missed him. He traveled over 600 miles to be with her. He loves his mom and the emotion both gave after the surprise can’t be bought or sold. This was genuine as they come.
