Barack Obama has made it clear that he is unhappy that Donald Trump will be succeeding him as America’s 45th president. While the outgoing president claims he will do everything he can to help the new administration transition smoothly into the White House, behind the scenes it is clear that the outgoing administration plans to make things very difficult for Trump.
Former Attorney General Eric Holder has just been hired by the state of California to help “resist any attempts to roll back the progress California has made” by Trump’s administration.
California Democrats are allegedly worried that President-elect Trump will block their liberal agenda, which includes amnesty, ObamaCare and climate change. Holder will serve as “outside counsel” to the California Legislature, which is heavily controlled by Democrats.

With the upcoming change in administrations, we expect that there will be extraordinary challenges for California in the uncertain times ahead.
The Legislature will work with the Governor and our next Attorney General to protect California’s economy and our sensible policies on climate change, health care, civil rights and immigration.
This is a critical moment in the history of our nation. We have an obligation to defend the people who elected us and the policies and diversity that make California an example of what truly makes our nation great.
To accomplish that we will assemble the best and brightest in defense of our values and constitutional guarantees, and towards that end, the Legislature has retained the services of an expert legal team from the nationally-renowned Covington & Burling law firm, led by former United States Attorney General Eric H. Holder, Jr. Mr. Holder and his team will serve as outside counsel to the Legislature, advising us in our efforts to resist any attempts to roll back the progress California has made.
Clearly California Democrats are worried that their liberal agenda will come crumbling down like a house of cards under Trump otherwise they wouldn’t have hired one of the most liberal and corrupt Attorney Generals in American history.
Donald Trump has vowed to repeal ObamaCare and to enforce America’s immigration laws, starting with building a border wall with Mexico. California Democrats, and liberals across the country, are in for a rude awakening.
