Last night was one hell of a night.
I had attended a pro-Trump party in New York City, which also served as a launch party for a website a colleague is launching. While we all had voted for Trump, few of us were certain he’d come out on top. If he were to win, it would be a slim margin – or so we thought.
As the night progressed, the inevitability of a Trump victory became clear. We had attracted a number of stares from New Yorkers as our “Trump” and “USA” chants got progressively louder – but there was a reason they were silent. They knew they were screwed.
The best part of this election for me hasn’t just been Trump’s victory, it’s been viewing the public meltdowns on my Facebook and Twitter feed. And trust me – there were plenty of liberal tears shed last night. Watch below:
