Perhaps it’s time to start asking Chuck Schumer what he knew and when he knew it.
Mere hours before President-elect Trump was to hold his first scheduled press conference, major media outlets CNN and BuzzFeed dropped a completely fake news story provided by the intelligence community, involving Trump and reprehensible acts with prostitutes in Russia.
CNN reported that the “classified briefings” used for the fake news story were “presented by four of the senior-most US intelligence chiefs” last week. Those chiefs included Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, FBI Director James Comey, CIA Director John Brennan, and NSA Director Admiral Mike Rogers.
Most media outlets ignored the “story,” knowing none of the information could be proven and the source was completely unverified.
So, knowing that the intelligence community was behind these documents getting out to the public, the following statement from Chuck Schumer is either prescient or highly suspect.
Schumer warned last week – at about the same time the intelligence officials were presenting these documents to Obama and Trump – that the intelligence community ‘may get back’ at Trump for his negative statements about them.
“You take on the intelligence community, they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you so even for a practical supposedly hard-nosed businessman he’s being dumb to do this,” Schumer, the top Democrat in the U.S. Senate, said.
Was this one of the six ways, and if so how did Schumer know that they’d be out to exact revenge against Trump for his criticisms? Did someone leak the information to Schumer prior to the media reveal?
Trump blasted the intelligence agencies saying the document drop was “nonsense” and the fact that it had been released to the media marked “a tremendous blot on their record.”
Intelligence agencies should never have allowed this fake news to “leak” into the public. One last shot at me.Are we living in Nazi Germany?

And we must ask: if the intelligence community is “getting back” at the duly elected President of the United States of America, who is in charge? Who holds the power? The people of America, or government bureaucrats?
