Chuck Norris Travels to Israel, Meets With Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

During the last 8 years, it’s safe to say that the relationship between Israel and the United States deteriorated, given former President Barack Obama’s continued attacks on the Jewish state and its right to defend itself from terrorist attacks.

While Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had a contentious relationship, throughout the 2016 presidential election, Donald Trump pledged to stand side-by-side with Israel and strengthen the relationship between the two nations.

Well, it appears as though the strengthened U.S.-Israeli relationship is reverberating across this country. One of our favorite conservative celebrities recently traveled to Israel and got the opportunity to meet with Netanyahu during his trip: none other than Chuck Norris!

Prime Minister Netanyahu posted this picture of their meeting on Instagram:

Prime Minister Netanyahu also created his own “Chuck Norris joke.” Classic!

From Fox News:

Netanyahu told Norris in a video posted on the prime minister’s Facebook page, “Listen, Israel is strong but it’s indestructible now” later telling his security team to clear the building as Norris could easily handle any threats. Norris told the prime minister he and his wife had been “looking forward to” their meeting. “Believe me, you’ll always have my support. All that was coming down, I didn’t know what to do,” Norris told Netanyahu. “My wife said, ‘I know what to do. I’m calling over there.”

Norris and his wife Gena O’Kelley are currently on a trip in Israel. The couple visited the Western Wall on Sunday met with former Foreign Ministry director-general Dore Gold on Saturday at a restaurant in Herzliya.

Here is a video of the meeting that Prime Minister Netanuahu posted on his Facebook page:

Norris was also spotted taking a picture with former Foreign Ministry director-general Dore Gold:

While President Obama turned his back on Israel during his 8 years in office, it is nice to know that the nation has the support of the American people, including patriots like Chuck Norris.

Are you glad to see Chuck Norris travel to Israel and lend his support to one of America’s strongest allies? Share your thoughts below!
