HORRIBLE: 4 Dead, 12 Shot in THIS U.S. City!

Chicago, Illinois is a violent city. It also happens to be President Barack Obama’s hometown, and has some of America’s most strict gun control laws.

But on Wednesday, 12 people were shot and 4 people were killed in the Windy City. The city’s crime rate is out of control, while law-abiding citizens are not allowed to defend themselves.

This is tragic:

Four men were killed and 12 other people were wounded in shootings across Chicago Wednesday.

A man was shot to death Wednesday afternoon in the Washington Park neighborhood on the South Side.

Eric Banks, 25, was on the sidewalk at 1:51 p.m. in the 5700 block of South Wabash when someone got out of a vehicle and fired at him, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. Banks, who lived on the same block, was shot multiple times in the back and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 2:36 p.m.

More than 13 hours earlier, two men who were shooting at each other were both killed in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

At 12:41 a.m., a 34-year-old man sitting in a vehicle was involved in a shootout with a 28-year-old man standing in the street in the 12300 block of South Halsted, police said. The younger man was shot in the chest and pronounced dead at the scene. Officers found the older man with a gunshot wound to the head in the 700 block of East 111th Street, where he was also pronounced dead.

About six minutes before that, a man was shot to death in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side.

At 12:35 a.m., the 51-year-old was arguing with another male in the 5100 block of South Honore, when the male pulled out a gun and opened fire, according to police. Officers later found the man lying in the street suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Each one of these deaths reported by the Chicago Sun Times every week is someone’s relative. Chicago is so dangerous that no one should feel safe outside on the streets.

But President Obama and liberal anti-gun members of Congress will never discuss this crisis, because it doesn’t fit their gun control agenda. Chicago gun laws don’t work, as criminals still have guns and use them to kill people. It’s time for that to change.
