This week Bristol Palin’s new husband, Dakota Meyer, posted an image on Instagram that made liberal go crazy.
His crime? He posted a picture that showed his gun lying on the kitchen counter next to his 7-month-old daughter, Sailor, sitting in a car seat.
Of course, liberals freaked out, producing ridiculous concern-trolling headlines like:

But here’s the real context that anti-gun zealots ignore: He’s a Marine Medal of Honor recipient putting a holster on his belt while talking about the importance of carrying to protect your family. He knows what he’s doing, people!
He’s not about to shoot his daughter and she isn’t close enough to grab the gun. Pretty much the outrage boils down to EEEEEK! GUNS ARE EVIL AND SCARY!!!11!
In response to the outrage, Bristol capitalized on the controversy by advertising for t-shirts that say Pro-Life, Pro-God, Pro-Gun to benefit LifeHouse Maternity Home.
