Governors of Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Washington, D.C. have just declared they are in the “state of emergency“… weather forecasts are show that as much as 30 inches of snow will be dumped in America’s capital.
If your state is affected, you need to prepare now for Storm Jonas! The snow and bad weather is expected to affect states from New England to the mid-Atlanic. 75 million people will be affected.
More than 5,000 flights have already been cancelled, while food, water, and supplies are disappearing from grocery and hardware stores.
Washington, D.C.’s mayor apologized for the weak response to countless car crashes and traffic after the initial snow fall this week. And D.C.’s metrorail has been officially closed for the weekend.
The snow and powerful winds are life-threatening… and this will continue from now through late Saturday night.
Two have already died in North Carolina from weather-related crashes.
Winds will be more than 60 MPH, and hundreds of thousands of homes in coastal regions will certainly lose power. Tornadoes have even been predicted in Southern states… including parts of Mississippi!
The storm is expected to cause more than $1 billion in damages.
