Beyonce’s Super Bowl 50 performance is now hotly debated, as she performed her new song, which is a tribute to the “Black Lives Matter” movement. In it, she makes reference to the New Black Panther Party and has negative words for America’s police officers. The video shows a post-Katrina New Orleans, with bright graffiti that reads, “Stop Shooting Us.”
During the Super Bowl, the National Sheriff’s Association scheduled time during it’s annual Washington, D.C. conference at the J.W. Marriott to watch the Super Bowl.
But just as Beyonce performed the anti-cop lyrics from the new song Formation, they turned off the sound and turned their backs to the performance.
Sheriff Danny Glick of Laramie County, Wyoming who is President of the Sheriff’s Association is demanding the National Football League (NFL) do a better job selecting less controversial halftime entertainment. The Super Bowl is supposed to be fun for the whole family, not a place for anti-police propaganda.

I support these sheriffs for making a bold statement against Black Lives Matter! The men and women of our local police stations risk their lives everyday for our safety, and they deserve our respect.
