But this story is extraordinary! In Los Angeles, an airline was refusing to help get a sick 3-year-old Jewish boy on a flight.
Trump was called, and he immediately made his expensive private jet available. Donald Trump acted to save the day, without hesitation.

The private Boeing 727 of real estate tycoon Donald Trump arrived from Los Angeles at LaGuardia Airport Tuesday morning, carrying aboard an Orthodox Jewish child with a rare and still undiagnosed breathing illness.
The child, Andrew Ten, age 3, arrived with his parents — accompanied by three nurses who attend to him around the clock — to try to seek medical help in the New York area.
Trump made his plane available for the special trip to New York after the boy’s parents, Judy and Harold Ten, called Trump and told him of their plight.
Commercial airlines refused to fly the child because he could not travel without an elaborate life-support system, which includes a portable oxygen tank, a suction machine, a breathing bag and an adrenaline syringe.
“Mr. Trump did not hesitate when we called him up. He said ‘yes, I’ll send my plane out,’” 29-year-old Harold Ten recalled shortly after he landed here Tuesday morning.
Asked why he thought Trump made his private jet available, Ten replied, “Because he is a good man. He has three children of his own and he knows what being a parent is all about.”
While Donald Trump is busy saving young boys at airports, President Barack Obama allows his family to live in poverty somewhere in Kenya.

For all the naysayers who posted here, think about this. Trump did this act of kindness a long time ago, long before he was running for prez. He didn’t have a thing to gain politically by helping out this family. He did it because he cares. So anyone who wants to say he’s only doing things to improve his image needs to think again. Trump is a great man, he will make a good prez if he’s given the chance. Also ask yourself, when did the hillhag ever do anything like this? This random act of sincerity and kindness from Trump to help those in need does not surprise me. Once I was watching Greta’s On the Record, and she mentioned that when she was covering Sgt Tahmooressi who got wrongfully arrested in Mexico and finally returned to the US after almost a year. Trump called her show to ask for his address. She told him she did not have it, and asked why he wanted it. He said he wanted to send the sgt some money. Greta told him to send the money to her show and she would make sure that the sgt got it. Then she said Trump sent $25K check to her show as he said. Trump didn’t know these people. They contacted him as a last resort because they had heard of his generosity. Trump is a good, honest man.
These people were friends of Trump, that’s why he helped them. . How else were they able to call him and tell them about their situation? The author would have us believe that Trump heard of a stranger that needed help and he came to the rescue.

You have no way of knowing that Trump knew this family. You just made that up. Ivanka has mentioned more than once how her dad is always tearing articles out of the paper about people in dire straights and sending them money. That is just who he is.
it doesn’t matter that it was 1988 when this was done….he did it for no reason but to help one child. Trump has not changed at all in that respect and I admire the guy for doing a very humanitarian thing as this.

The family were chummy enough to have Trump’s personal phone number to call him also. They are probably chummy enough to give him some good PR as well. DO you honestly think Trump would come to the aid of a stranger like this?
Can anyone see Hillary doing something like this? She wouldn’t even send the help she had at her disposal to our people in Benghazi. God help us if she is elected.

Seriously? I have read every comment posted here and literally no one is criticizing Trump or dumping on what he did. What people ARE criticizing is the lack of journalistic integrity in presenting this as if it happened yesterday. What Trump did for this boy was done 27 years ago! And it was done for one of Trump’s business partners who was the president of a brokerage firm in Cali and probably paid Trump for the trip when the airlines (at that time) wouldn’t take the kid on board. Sadly, these “hack” sites publish a story, post a picture of Trump’s current plane (a 757) and don’t even stop the think that the original article from 1988 mentioned Trump’s 727. I consider myself a moderate conservative. But this kind of shoddy journalism is seriously messed up. To everyone out there, don’t believe everything you read on the internet without doing some fact checking. You be better educated and be better informed to make the right decisions.
I hope they have an update on the child’s condition. What was the condition that needed to have a child transported from CA to NY, especially when CA has some of the best hospitals in the U.S.?

This reporter identified this Trump aircraft as a 727 ,which is a three engine much older aircraft .It appears to be a 757 a much more modern aircraft . That being said it sure was very generous of the Donald .there are not many people in the USA that could or would accomplish this .
That would be because the picture is of Mr. Trump’s current aircraft. Which of course is a Boeing 757. Back in 1988, when this story was actually news, Mr. Trump was rockin’ a 727.
